Heather Anne Thomas (born Heather Anne Thomas) is an American writer, actor and activist. She gained notoriety for playing Jody Banks in the"The Fall Guy" Adventure Show. Her TV debut came when she was a child as she was one of the hosts on the NBC show 'Talking with a Giant. After completing a Film and Theatre degree at ULCA, she made guest appearances as a TV host on series like California Fever, Co-Ed the Fever, and The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo. Her breakthrough was in the year 1981, when her role as a leading lady in 'The The Fall Guy" was confirmed. Thomas was a well-known brand throughout the United States following the series' five seasons. Over the years Thomas has been in a variety of television shows as well as in films. Thomas was nominated for the Gemini Award in 1987 for her performance in Ford: The Man and the Machine in a commercial-grade television film. Thomas was able to get her acting career back on track and she started focusing more on her personal life, made the decision to stop her acting career in 1998. Thomas is a devoted volunteer in various charitable organizations and is also an author, scriptwriter and published writer.
